Diana Woods – Biography
Real estate sales is an encore career for Diana. For twenty years prior to joining Coldwell Banker Fortune in Anchorage Alaska, Diana was an alpine ski industry professional in the ski towns of Mammoth Lakes California, Methven New Zealand and Girdwood Alaska. She served in a variety of positions, including ski instructor, ski shop supervisor, radio personality, and resort hotel sales manager. After meeting her husband Michael Polzin in Alaska, Diana added property manager to the list.
After acquiring their first two properties, Diana decided to pursue her broker’s license and full time real estate sales. She won Rookie of the Year 1997 at Coldwell Banker, and immediately began achieving various specialty certifications and designations:

In 2002 Diana and Michael moved to Hawaii Island, and joined the Seaside Tennis Club. Diana successfully challenged the Hawaii broker exam. She then joined Mauna Kea Realty, at legendary Mauna Kea Resort. Specializing in the Kohala Coast tennis and golf resort neighborhoods at Mauna Kea Resort, Mauna Lani Resort, and Waikoloa Beach Resort, Diana developed a deep buyer client list and a thorough knowledge of this second home market. Other neighborhoods of expertise include Kailua-Kona (Kona), Waikoloa Village, Kamuela (Waimea), Hawi, Holualoa, Honoka’a, Kapa’au, Kealakehua, Keauhou, Pa’auilo. Diana’s book of business is largely referral based. She works primarily with buyers looking for luxury property referred to her by past clients and her nationwide luxury agent network.
Diana has also developed an impressive plan for marketing consultation requests. Pre-inspections, home staging, professional photography, Wall Street Journal Online and virtual tours are just a few of her standard tools.
